The development team at Quadratek has been working with the defence community since 2002, developing applications and capability on information systems such as XNET and INET.

Russell Knight is the Associate Director who oversees the development and Intelligence solutions at Quadratek. "Our success has been in understanding the requirements of our customers, developing bespoke applications that provide immediate operational benefit and ensuring that they constantly evolve to meet the ever changing needs. This, together with our ability to provide a quick response, means that our reputation within the Ministry of Defence is one of being a valued, dynamic and responsive supplier."

Quadratek, working with Fujitsu Siemens, have provided a number of applications in various guises over this period. Arguably the most successful of these is the intelligence application "IQ". IQ supports the whole Intelligence cycle; "Collect, Process, Disseminate, Direct" and enables linking, visualisation, analysis and reporting of multiple underlying databases.

As well as providing immediate capability, Quadratek is investing heavily in development of future solutions in this field. We have worked over the last couple of years with EDS Defence, as the prime contractor, on the Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition & Reconnaissance (ISTAR) Testbed. The Testbed primarily represents future systems, concepts, procedures and applications hosted on representative infrastructure.
